Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation- Though this disease claims to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder a majority of the funds are used to pay for fundraising to try to pull in more money. In the past year the net revenue was $1,348,206, but $1,093,984 was spent on fundraising about $30,000 for administrative expenses only leaving $199,818 for program expenses. When visiting the website the quotes and statements on there give the idea that a lot of the money is being used for programs versus fundraising. For these reasons I would not recommend supporting this foundation because a majority of your money is not going where you think it is. http://www.myasdf.org/site/ [Natalie H.]
Autism Speaks- This charity foundation can be classified as mediocre charity organization. The components of a charity that make it a successful charity such as Program expenses, administrative expenses, fundraising efficiency, ect can all definitely be found in better quality in different charities, but there is no doubt that there are worse charities.
